To practice the art and science of nursing through continuous study, implementation of evidence-based recommendations/clinical guidelines, inclusion of electronic medical records/patient portal, and through collaborative partnerships with community specialists.

High Quality Care Priorities:

  • promote partnerships with insurers, employers, pharmacies, and communities services.

  • provide safe, high quality, cost-effective care.

  • inclusive of health prevention and promotion models of care. 

  • to act as patient advocates.

Community Service:

  • to promote health in the media, schools, and community.

  • to provide leadership and educational opportunities locally, state-wide, nationally, and internationally to the nursing and medical community.

  • to precept future providers.
